Trophy Active Protection System

The Trophy Active Protection System was developed in joint between Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aircraft Industries for the Israeli Defence Force . The Trophy Active Protection System can be mounted on both heavy and light armored vehicles. The Trophy detects incoming munitions such as missiles and eliminates the threat with a shotgun like blast. This is more a prevention measure than an armor capability and has been deployed on Israeli combat vehicles since its release.
